Mr. Omar Leal

Mr. Leal has taught US History, Economics, Government, and AVID during his 4 years of teaching at Marine Creek. Before that Mr. Leal was a moderately successful professional musician in Austin, TX while attending the University of Texas. Before that Mr. Leal worked as a Chemical Technician/Analyst at the JACADS (Johnston Atoll Chemical Agent Disposal System) project located on Johnston Atoll (860 mi SW of Hawaii). 

Mr. Leal interests outside of school include philosophy, basketball, vinyl records, and video games.

Mr. Leal is also a movie/television enthusiast and a long time fan of cupcakes.
