Mrs. Jessica Tackett

Assistant Principal

This is Mrs. Tackett’s third year at Marine Creek Collegiate, but 8^th year with FWISD. For the last two  years, Mrs. Tackett has served as our Post-Secondary Success Coordinator. This year she will be contributing in the role as Assistant Principal. Prior to coming to Marine Creek, she worked as an AP Government and AP Macroeconomics teacher. She received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Master of Arts in Teaching from Texas Woman’s University. In May of 2019, she completed her Principal Certification Program at Texas Woman’s University as well.

Mrs. Tackett grew up in Texas but enjoys spending her summers on the beach in Destin, Florida with her husband and 7 children: Blake (15), Jayson (15), Addison (14), Layla (13), Maddox (9), Jamie (5), and Rex (4). On the weekends, you will find Mrs. Tackett and her family at the ball park or relaxing outside by the pool. She is so grateful to continue in her new role as a Shark!
