Mrs. Jessica Tackett

Assistant Principal

This is Mrs. Tackett’s  sixth year at Marine Creek Collegiate, but 11th year with FWISD. Mrs. Tackett has served as the Assistant Principal for the past 4 years and 2 years as the Campus Post Secondary Coordinator. Prior to coming to Marine Creek, she worked as an AP Government and AP Macroeconomics teacher. She received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Master of Arts in Teaching from Texas Woman’s University. In May of 2019, she completed her Principal Certification Program at Texas Woman’s University as well.

Mrs. Tackett grew up in Texas but enjoys spending her summers on the beach in Destin, Florida with her husband and 7 children: Blake (19), Jayson (19), Addison (18), Layla (17), Maddox (13), Jamie (9), and Rex (8). On the weekends, you will find Mrs. Tackett and her family at the ball park or relaxing outside by the pool. She is so grateful to continue in her new role as a Shark!
